A Czech Grandma Transforms Her Village Into a Living Art Gallery With Hand-Painted Floral Designs

Creativity has no age limit

A talented 90-year-old resident of Louka, Czech Republic, beautifies her hometown in a very personal, original way: she adorns window and door frames with traditional Moravian (southern Czech) floral designs.

Anežka (Agnes) Kašpárková began her painting hobby thanks to other local female artists who had been decorating the small village for years. She prefers to use vibrant blue paint on white backdrops and a small brush.

Despite attaining both local and viral acclaim, she insists her hobby is purely for pleasure. “I am an artist,” she told to the Czech media. “I just enjoy it and I want to help.” She is a perfect example that creativity has no age limits!
