Tired Of 2017’s Negative News Man Decides To Publish All The Positive Things That Happened

Negativity sells. In 2017, we were inundated with a lot of bad news including terrorism, crime, natural disasters and war being top headlines; however, in the midst of all these unfortunate stories, twitter user Jacob Atkins, a 20-year-old biology major at the University of Iowa, decided to pull out the positive notes of the year.

He composed a list of all the positive and interesting stories from 2017 which most of us probably missed or at least didn’t hear about in any of the news updates. Discovering the positive in a world that has Trump, Brexit, North Korea and natural disasters on top of all the news channels seems like a daunting task but this young man just made it happen.
